Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) and Blockchain, as a part of them, provide tools and capabilities that are becoming essential parts of the fabric of modern societies for the next centuries.
These novel technologies require rethinking of the traditional interactions in commerce, organization of society, institutions, regulations and all other aspects concerning money, assets and information. Many professions will disappear, others will be transformed, new ones will appear. A new global watershed appears - people who know how to use distributed systems and the ones who don’t. There will be huge social differences between the two groups.
